Where are you studying?
I am studying at Launceston Church Grammar School. I am in grade 9 and there are key subjects I have to study but my optional subjects include food studies and visual arts.
Where are you from?
I am from Hong Kong.
Why did you choose Launceston?
My parents decided on where I was going to study. They liked the safe and close knit communty of Launceston.
Where do you live?
I am resident of the Boarding House at Grammar along with my brother Tom who is in Grade 6.
Where do you hang out?
I mainly hang out with the other boarding students at Grammar. We also like to walk into Mowbray or catch a bus into the city centre to look through the shops or enjoy the eateries. The bus trip only takes 10 minutes.
Where do you eat?
I usually eat in the dining hall at the Boarding House but also enjoy Dave's Noodles and Morty's Food Court in the city centre.
What do you like to do in Launceston?
I usually participate in activities at Grammar, like themed dinners, day trips to some of the beautiful wilderness places near to Launceston orsimply hang out with fellow boarders. I have made some great friends since being in Launceston.
Where is your future headed?
I will continue studying at Launceston Church Grammar School until I have gained my TCE (Tasmanian Certificate of Education) and then I will most probably return to Hong Kong.
What are the sounds of Launceston?
It is very quiet, compared to Hong Kong that is.
