ELISABETH WIDJOJO

PhD student Elisabeth Widjojo believes that Launceston is the best place possible to recharge after a day of study.

Elisabeth is studying her PhD at the Human Interface Technology Laboratory Australia (HITLab AU), a cutting-edge research and teaching facility within the School of Engineering and Information and Communication Technology at the University of Tasmania, situated on the Newnham campus.

“HITLab Australia was the place that I really wanted to have my research experience with. I have been provided with the best lab environment and colleagues to support my PhD study,” she said.

“I was really excited knowing that HITLab Australia is located in Launceston, Tasmania, one of the most peaceful and beautiful islands in Australia suitable for living and studying.”

Elisabeth said Launceston is “the best place to escape.”

“It’s known for having a friendly neighbourhood, beautiful scenery, and cool weather,” she said.

“Studying at HITLab Australia and sightseeing in Launceston is the best combination to support my PhD study.”
